Encompassing over over 30 square miles, or 15,000 acres, The Town of Nocatee Florida in Western Ponte Vedra, is located along Palm Valley Road between US-1 and the Intracoastal Waterway. 85% of Nocatee is in St. Johns County (St. Augustine) and 15% is in Duval County (Jacksonville). Upon completion in approximately 2030, the community will showcase over 14,000 Nocatee homes and an estimated 35,000 residents. The infrastructure of Nocatee will include six elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school, over 4 million ft of office space, over one million feet of commercial space, as well as three golf courses. Also included within the Town Of Nocatee is 9,000 acres of preservation/conservation areas, and over 300 acres in parks. All considered, The Town Of Nocatee will truly be a place to live, work, shop, go to school, and play in the fabulous coastal Florida lifestyle without leaving your community!
Nocatee Town Center
The Nocatee Town Center opened in January 2010 and is anchored by the largest Publix Supermarket in Northeast Florida. The Town Center provides space for many other businesses as well, including clothing stores, banking, gas stations, cafes and restaurants, and more. A plan for a 675,000 square foot Class A Corporate office park in Town Center has been announced by Baptist Health. Nocatee's Town Center provides many different conveniences to the residents.
Nocatee Splash Water Park
Nocatee's Splash Water Park opened in March 2010 and is fun for the whole family! This park is a resort-style water playground for all. Enjoy speeding down the park's high-speed water slides or relax in the lazy river winding through cascading water falls. The 53 foot tall water slide tower hosts two high speed water slides and is the highest in Northeast Florida. The park includes a community center and fitness club as well.
The Nocatee GreenWay Trail System
Nocatee's GreenWay Trail connects over 5,000 acres of preserved land by unpaved trails created for jogging, hiking, or biking. The trail also contains paths for electric carts, all linking the neighborhoods to the Town Center. The Trail consists of parks, protected by wildlife corridors, and wetlands preserves.
The Nocatee Preserve
The Nocatee Preserve is 2,400 acres of beautiful land by the Intracoastal Waterway, donated to St. Johns County for use as a public park. The Preserve boasts natural scenery to be enjoyed by any hiker, biker, or bird watcher while providing a safe haven for the area's treasured wildlife.
Schools
Most of the Nocatee neighborhoods plan to have an elementary school within walking or biking distance. Land for six elementary schools has been reserved by the community, as well as two middle schools and one high school. These sites will be donated to the St. Johns County School District as needed. Nocatee's students are zoned for Rawlings Elementary School, Landrum Middle School, Nease High School, and Ponte Vedra High School. All of these schools have gained impressive reputations.

Nocatee could not be placed in a better location! Its close proximity to Ponte Vedra Beach provides easy access to beautiful sandy beaches. The community is also a short drive away from St. Augustine Beaches as well as Jacksonville Beaches; quite a variety! The golfer in your family will surely enjoy golfing on the area's famous golf courses including Sawgrass, host of the Tournament Players Championship (TPC) and World Golf Village's many courses. Take a short drive to Jacksonville's Avenues Mall or St. Johns Town Center. St. Augustine also has a lot of shopping to offer at their two Outlet Malls as well as the many shops and boutiques downtown.
