Heritage Landing encompasses 680 unspoiled acres ideally located near the juncture of Six Mile Creek and the St. Johns River, just up the road from the World Golf Village and Hall of Fame. Heritage Landing is home to Camp Central, a spacious clubhouse with multi-purpose “Heritage Room,” men and women’s bath houses, fitness facility, open air picnic pavilion with fireplace and grill, catering kitchen, bar, and a viewing terrace. The Camp Activity area in the amenities center is designed to include an outdoor story-telling and fire ring, an outdoor movie screen, volleyball, horseshoes, shuffleboard and bocci ball. A Water Park including a 6 lane heated lap pool, a fun pool with geyser, bubble and spray works; a “fire service” like lookout tower attached to a spectacular water slide: and a wading s stream, bubblers and sand, beach and native wild life sculptures including a manatee and a gator. In addition, the water park is highlighted by a three story tall waterslide. The tennis center will have four har-tru clay courts and is expandable to eight, as well as fields for all kinds of sports including soccer, baseball, basketball. In addition, Heritage Landing also has a largle playground area kids of all ages will enjoy.
Heritage Landing is located in The World Golf Village area of Northwest St. Johns County. World Golf Village offers two world-class golf golf courses, stunning spa and recreational amenities, and first-rate schools, Residents also have access to the World Golf Hall of Fame, the World Golf Village IMAX Theater, the community’s onsite restaurants and great shopping nearby. Other amenites to be completed by 2010 in the area includeinclude a large outdoor shopping mall, 6,000 seat arena, a roller skating rink, a movie theatre, and MUCH more! The community is near 90% build out, with DR Horton & Engle Homes closing things out. Engle homes has just recently finished building, however DR Hortone still as new homes in Heritage Landing available starting in the high $100's up to the $300's.
