Condo Communities Separated by Area
If it is a condominium you are looking for, Jacksonville and Northeast Florida has a very
diverse supply of condos to suite any buyers lifestyle and budget. Considering that Jacksonville
is the largest area in the United States land wise, location is the most important factor
when it comes to the prices of Jacksonville FL Condos.
Northeast Florida Condos
Areas west of the St. Johns River like North Jacksonville, West Jacksonville, and Orange Park have some of the lowest priced condos in the Northeast Florida Area. the sacrifice for the low price, is of course location. In general, these areas are less convenient to the Beaches, the most popular business districts, as well as the most popular entertainment and dining. West Jacksonville also includes several communities in the Riverside and Ortega areas, which are both historic riverfront communities. One exception to this rule is the Downtown area (grouped in on the left with North Jacksonville FL Condos). Downtown has seen a huge revitalization for residential living over the last five years, and is home to a couple high-rise luxury riverfront and marina condominium buildings, with more on the way!
Baymeadows, Mandarin/Beauclerc, Southside, and Intracoastal West areas are all priced in the Middle range. All four of these areas are all generally centrally located, and are all basically considered part of the "Southside" area Jacksonville to some degree. These areas encompass all of Jacksonville between the Intracoastal Waterway and West to the St. Johns River. The Baymeadows area not only features the highest concentration of condominiums in all of northeast Florida, but also the highest concentration of apartment conversions. Also grouped in with the "Southside/Arlington" area is the San Marco Area and San Jose Area, which run just East of the St. Johns River opposite Downtown Jacksonville, which is also home to a good supply of luxury riverfront condos. The Mandarin area of Jacksonville is features overall the best schools in all of Duval County. The Intracoastal West area is still convenient to the Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beaches, however prices typically are not quiet as high. All of these areas are convenient to the major roadways through Jacksonville, as well as the most popular shopping including St. Johns Town Center shopping mall.
St. Augustine Florida Condos
St. Augustine Florida Condos are also priced around the middle range as well, and much of St. Augustine has become a suburb of Jacksonville to some degree. St. Augustine and St. Johns County is also knows for having a highly rated school district as well. More condo communities are being added to St. Augustine in the near future.
